About the position

The Leasing Agent plays a crucial role in achieving the property's revenue goals by maximizing occupancy and rental rates. This hands-on, customer service-oriented position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively engage with prospects and residents, conduct property tours, and facilitate lease completions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Leasing Manager to maintain daily knowledge of current leasing, occupancy and availability.
  • Follow Campus's Leasing and Marketing guidelines for greeting prospects and residents, responding to inquiries, conducting property tours, and following up with prospects.
  • Facilitate application and lease completion processes.
  • Execute the property's marketing plan and adjust marketing strategies to achieve traffic and closing goals.
  • Maintain lease file paperwork in accordance with company policy and ensure completion of regular lease audits.
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting related to leasing and marketing activities.
  • Become a product and market expert, knowing the unique selling features of the community and being proficient in market trends.
  • Conduct daily inspections of model units to ensure they are in pristine condition and remedy any issues promptly.
  • Assist with completion of weekly market surveys and attend Residence Life Functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • PC Literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • 1-2 Years Sales Experience, preferably in Student Housing
  • Entrata Experience Preferred
