About the position

The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in managing the leasing workflow for a portfolio of apartment communities in Seattle. This position is designed for individuals who are proactive and resourceful, aiming to contribute to the company's growth while enjoying a flexible work environment. The role involves direct interaction with prospective tenants and requires strong communication skills to effectively represent the properties and the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage leasing flow from inquiry to resident move-in using Guide's management platforms and procedures
• Lead apartment tours with resident prospects and provide thorough follow-up
• Professionally represent the communities and Guide
• Help ensure that properties and units are in showing condition
• Collaborate with Property Managers to schedule showings for a portfolio of properties in the Seattle Area
• Maintain and update leasing flow documentation
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the management team on rental rates and market conditions
• Assist with unit marketing by taking photos and video walk-throughs of vacant units as well as posting ads to Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace

Requirements

• Hard-working, resourceful, proactive leader focused on continuous improvement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective tenants
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Integrity, extreme attention to detail, and excellent judgment
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to utilize a personal smart device for apps related to property operations and communication
• Knowledge of Fair Housing
• Reliable Vehicle and Valid Driver's License is required

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of AppFolio is preferred
• Ability to be flexible under change, multitask, manage time efficiently and prioritize work responsibilities
