About the position

The Leasing Professional at Greystar is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role involves performing all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction, and securing lease renewals while maintaining the community's standards and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
  • Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks.
  • Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
  • Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in and ensure they are in move-in ready condition.
  • Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact occupancy and sales results.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.
  • Design and execute marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community.
  • Use property management software to track apartment availability and manage resident data.
  • Ensure the community and show units meet the Company's standards for show quality.
  • Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction.
  • Execute activities in support of the community's lease renewal program.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns.

Requirements

  • Must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
  • Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management or leasing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
