About the position

The Leasing Professional at The Harper at Harmon Meadow is responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This role involves performing all leasing activities, ensuring resident satisfaction, and managing lease renewals.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals.
• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks.
• Prepare the lease and move-in package, ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in and ensure they are in move-in ready condition.
• Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact occupancy and sales results.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community.
• Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability and manage resident data.
• Ensure the community and show units meet the Company's standards for show quality.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Execute activities in support of the community's lease renewal program.
• Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Experience with property management software, preferably Yardi.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in marketing and sales within the real estate sector.
