About the position

Harbor Group Management Company is a multi-billion dollar real estate investment and property management firm dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and exquisite living experiences for our residents. As a Leasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in showcasing and leasing apartments or townhomes to prospective residents. This position is ideal for passionate, goal-oriented individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for greeting prospective residents, providing tours of the property, and maintaining guest cards while ensuring timely follow-ups. In addition to leasing duties, you will assist the Property Manager in managing the property's overall performance, which includes monitoring efficiency, turnover rates, occupancy levels, income, and budgetary performance. You will also be involved in collecting rent, handling delinquent accounts, and participating in resident retention programs and promotions. Your role will require you to prepare and maintain complete resident files, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on the community and the residents' living experience.

Responsibilities

  • Show and lease apartments or townhomes to prospective residents.
  • Greet prospective residents and provide tours of the property.
  • Maintain guest cards and complete follow-ups.
  • Assist the Property Manager with the property's total performance, including efficiency, turnover rate, occupancy, income, and budgetary performance.
  • Assist in collecting rent and handling delinquent accounts.
  • Participate in resident retention programs and promotions.
  • Prepare and maintain complete resident files.

Requirements

  • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube is preferred.
  • Prior sales experience is helpful.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Flexibility to work weekend hours.
