Key responsibilities include preparing pleadings and filing documents with the courts, utilizing the Maryland Electronic Courts (MDEC) system. The role also involves scheduling depositions, assisting attorneys and paralegals with trial preparation, and maintaining effective communication with clients. The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for transcribing dictation, composing routine business correspondence, and coordinating meetings. Additionally, the position requires the management of attorneys' calendars, maintaining client files, and coordinating monthly client billing with the Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, a proactive work ethic, and a keen attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is crucial, as is a strong focus on client service and teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with MDEC are essential for success in this role. This position is based in Towson, MD, and requires in-person attendance, with a standard day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
