About the position

The Legal Administrative Assistant position at Rose International is a temporary role based in Milwaukee, WI, designed to provide essential support to attorneys in a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that are crucial for the smooth operation of the legal team. This includes document support for attorneys, which involves managing legal documentation, conducting document reviews, and ensuring that all legal documents are accurately edited and maintained. The role requires proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet management to assist with correspondence and budgeting tasks. In addition to document management, the Legal Administrative Assistant will perform various administrative functions such as handling expenses, procuring office supplies for the Chicago/Milwaukee offices, setting up meetings, and managing monthly reporting of various data. The position also involves legal document version management, utilizing legal software like "Workshare Compare" for document editing and management, and providing support to six attorneys in the Chicago/Milwaukee office. Additional responsibilities include managing subpoenas received by corporate entities, maintaining quarterly litigation reports, and general office administration tasks such as mail handling, ordering office supplies, processing invoices, and requesting checks. This role is critical in ensuring that the legal team operates efficiently and effectively, and it requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide document support for attorneys
  • Perform word processing and manage spreadsheets for correspondence and budgeting
  • Handle administrative assistant functions including expenses and procurement of office supplies
  • Set up meetings and manage scheduling
  • Manage monthly reporting and various data
  • Edit and manage legal documents using "Workshare Compare"
  • Support six attorneys in the Chicago/Milwaukee office
  • Manage subpoenas received by corporate entities
  • Maintain quarterly litigation reports
  • Perform general office administration tasks such as mail handling and processing invoices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
  • Experience in document review and legal documentation
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing
  • Ability to manage legal document versioning and edits
  • Familiarity with legal software, particularly "Workshare Compare"
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with SAP accounting software for outside vendor invoice processing
