The Legal Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various tasks related to case preparation and management, ensuring that the office operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Legal Assistant, you will assist attorneys with case preparation, which includes managing and organizing documents essential for legal proceedings. You will conduct legal research to gather relevant information that will aid in the development of cases. Drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents, correspondence, and reports will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and court appearances, ensuring that all parties are informed and prepared. Client communication is a vital aspect of this role, as you will manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from clients. Maintaining and organizing client files and records in accordance with office procedures is essential to ensure that all information is easily accessible. You will also perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies. Furthermore, you may be required to provide support during trials and hearings as needed, making your role integral to the success of the legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including document management and organization.

Requirements
