The NBCUniversal Internship Program allows students to unlock their potential by contributing to big projects in meaningful ways that matter. Responsibilities

  • Prepare briefing memos, talking points, comment summaries, and other written material.
  • Attend virtual and in-person hearings, conferences, and events.
  • Partner with team members to determine the impact of federal actions on the organization.
  • Develop presentations and other written materials on findings.
  • Act as an internal consultant to the government affairs team.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026).
  • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future.
  • Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026.
  • Must be willing to work in Washington, DC.

Nice-to-haves

  • Current J.D. candidate in good standing.
  • Current class standing of 2L or above preferred.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Self-starter, professional, and ability to adapt.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Coursework or experience in administrative and copyright law preferred.
  • Interest in the broadcast, digital media, and telecommunications industries.
