About the position

The Level II Field Machinist at Team Industrial Services, Inc. is responsible for executing field machining operations at client work sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations. This role involves setting up and operating portable machine tools for various machining tasks, while also leading and training less experienced technicians. The position requires a commitment to continuous skill development and adherence to company procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review client job scope and ensure compliance with safety procedures and job documentation.
  • Accountability for job equipment and tooling prior to arriving at the job site.
  • Achieve or exceed client quality and production expectations.
  • Execute field machining operations in accordance with approved site and company procedures.
  • Perform various field machining services including pipe cutting, flange resurfacing, drilling, milling, line boring, key-way cutting, shaft turning, and metal disintegration bolt removal.
  • Document all field machining service activities as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical school or relevant training preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in field machining in an industrial setting required.
  • Current HAZWOPER training certificate preferred.
