About The Position

The Clinical Social Worker I is a licensed professional responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients and families within the Yale New Haven Health System. This role involves providing social work consultation to interdisciplinary teams in various inpatient and ambulatory settings. The position requires collaboration with healthcare team members and encompasses a range of responsibilities including diagnostic assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.
• 3,000 hours of post-masters social work experience for Connecticut LCSW licensure.
• 100 hours of post-masters clinical supervision for Connecticut LCSW licensure.
• 24 months of experience licensed as a clinical social worker for Rhode Island LICSW licensure.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Connecticut or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from the State of Rhode Island.
