About the position
The Licensed Nail Technician at Serenity Beauty Bar is responsible for providing a variety of nail care services in a chic and relaxing environment. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. The technician will also engage in ongoing training to stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in nail care.
Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail art, gel applications, acrylics, facial, waxing, and other nail treatments.
- Ensure all clients receive exceptional customer service and leave satisfied with their experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent service and professional rapport.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Assist with reception duties, such as scheduling appointments and handling payments, as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Texas state manicurist or cosmetologist license.
- Proven experience as a nail technician in a salon environment.
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a desire to provide outstanding service.
