About the position

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator at Brookdale Senior Living is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a large senior living community, ensuring high-quality resident care, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. This role involves leading a team, developing business strategies, and fostering a positive community culture while driving sales and maintaining resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a large senior living community with over 200 units.
• Manage associate relations, resident engagement, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Create and execute the business plan to enhance community performance and profitability.
• Develop and implement annual operating and capital budgets, holding department leaders accountable.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the management team and encourage teamwork.
• Supervise and motivate community management and department leaders to ensure effective operations.
• Oversee the recruiting and onboarding process for new associates, ensuring proper training and development.
• Maintain positive resident relations and address resident satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure appropriate resident care and services.
• Drive sales and marketing efforts to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of operational leadership experience required.
• Valid administrator or nursing home administrator license in states where required.
• Valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for business use.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Microsoft software preferred.
