About the position

The Line Support position at HP Hood LLC is designed for individuals looking to contribute significantly to a team in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting Line Technicians by staging raw materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring efficient production operations. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to quality standards, making it a vital part of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Remove and stage raw materials for use during production runs as scheduled
• Verify, document and return unused raw materials to warehouse after production run ends
• Use radio frequency (RF) equipment as well as computer for picking and updating inventory
• Read production schedules and calculate raw material needs to supply 13 production lines
• Pull pallets from 4 high multi deep racking and form storage trailers
• Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with operations
• Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated area, adhering to all policies and procedures
• Communicates with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations
• Setup oncoming shift for successful run
• Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team, including overtime on opposite shift

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred
• Forklift experience
• RF picking / inventory management systems
