About The Position
Team Global Express is currently seeking a Linehaul Driver to commence immediately at our Altona North Depot. This is a Full Time Permanent Position. The successful candidate must be available to commence during PM hours and be fit and able to complete up to a 14 hour shift overnight. The role involves safely delivering freight from Melbourne to Sydney and Adelaide depots, mainly directly but with changeover during the weekend. Responsibilities include following and complying with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes, and completing regular vehicle pre-start checks. There is no set allocation of trucks in this position. The compensation includes $0.63c per Kilometer, $36.57 per Hour (Hourly Rate is paid for annual/sick leave and RDO's), 15% Superannuation, Company Funded Accommodation provided for 10-hour break, and a $45.03 Overnight Allowance.
