About the position

As a Linux Systems Administrator at Peraton, you will play a crucial role in supporting the SITE III JIOC contract, which is focused on the orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of applications that are vital for Collection Management, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and intelligence operations. This position is integral to ensuring that intelligence analysts, operations, and collection managers across Combatant Commands have the tools and systems they need to perform their duties effectively. You will be part of a team that applies best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, and DevSecOps to develop and maintain enterprise business systems and back-end business process workflows. Your responsibilities will include developing CI/CD build and deployment pipelines, integrating various tools into the DevOps process, and troubleshooting issues that arise within these systems. You will work closely with development teams to incorporate new microservices into the pipeline and automate installations of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products. The role requires a strong understanding of Linux environments, scripting languages, and a commitment to a DevSecOps-oriented approach with an Infrastructure as Code mindset. Peraton is committed to providing enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, including heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage, generous paid time off, and participation in an attractive bonus plan. This position not only offers a competitive salary but also the opportunity to contribute to national security efforts and work alongside a team of dedicated professionals.
