About the position

Our client, a prestigious Law Firm, is seeking a bright and dynamic Evening Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team at their gorgeous offices in the Financial District of San Francisco! In this role, you will be joining a team of assistants to provide support to several of the firm's partners on a variety of administrative projects, facilitating smooth daily and long-term operations of the firm. Your background supporting partners in a litigation law firm, along with your adept multitasking and prioritization skills will make you an ideal candidate for this position. Please note that the hours for this role are from 3:30pm PT - 12:00am PT. This is a HYBRID role and Candidates MUST be located in San Francisco!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and proofread legal documents
  • Manage cases and communicate with various stakeholders
  • Assist in discovery, deposition, and trial preparation
  • Handle e-filing in Federal, State, and local courts
  • Maintain client and administrative files
  • Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendars
  • Enter billable time and assist with billing
  • Perform conflict checks and administrative duties
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Deliver top-notch customer service

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and seven years of litigation experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in e-filing documents and confidential/sealed filings
  • Knowledge of TOC, TOA, Styles, and PDF software
  • Experience with legal software
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well in a team
