About the position

The Director of Food & Beverage at Live Nation Entertainment will oversee all Food and Beverage activities at owned and operated venues, ensuring a superior guest experience and financial success. This role involves collaboration with various teams to plan and execute F&B programs, develop new initiatives, and maintain compliance with regulations. The Director will also manage guest complaints and enhance the profitability of the Food & Beverage division.

Responsibilities

  • Provide F&B leadership and direction at owned and operated venues to ensure guest satisfaction and financial results.
  • Assist operations teams in planning and preparation for shows, including on-site support for setup and execution of F&B programs.
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Food & Beverage and Regional F&B Directors to develop industry-leading F&B initiatives and products.
  • Work on continuous development of new products and systems to improve per person spending and Fan satisfaction.
  • Analyze existing programs and promotions to enhance Fan patronage and average spend.
  • Implement and execute F&B sponsorships while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Supervise guest complaints in food and beverage areas at festivals.
  • Manage the Food & Beverage RFP process for festivals in coordination with operations teams.
  • Provide direction and support to concessionaire partners to ensure brand compliance across all festivals.
  • Create a framework for strong interdepartmental communication to implement cross-promotional goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Management, or Hospitality.
  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or venue F&B operations with a strong understanding of the F&B business.
  • Multi-unit restaurant leadership experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work within a corporate environment and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospitality software management systems.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and back office reporting systems.
  • Expertise in profitability analysis and budgeting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for both long-term and immediate situations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in event management or large-scale food service operations.
  • Knowledge of current food and beverage trends.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and sponsors.
