About The Position

The Loader Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper storage and inventory management of incoming materials at the plant. This role involves operating heavy machinery to transport bulk materials safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. The Loader Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining an orderly and safe work environment while supporting the overall operations of the plant.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 12 months of loader operator experience with CAT950 or similar equipment.
• Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge and skills.
• Proven safety record and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong knowledge of company products, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in or around heavy equipment, construction, or asphalt.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Operates a rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle to lift and transport bulk materials.
• Maintains inventory of stored materials and ensures proper stockpiling.
• Performs routine maintenance on the loader, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Conducts daily pre-trip safety inspections and reports any defects or problems.
• Loads bins to ensure appropriate stock levels and loads haul trucks safely.
• Maintains effective communication with supervisors, drivers, and crew members.
• Follows safety protocols and company policies in all activities.
