About the position

The Loan Document Processor prepares commercial loan documents for loan officers and performs various duties related to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documents in order to perfect the loan and reduce bank risk. This role includes all other ancillary duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform appropriate analytical actions required to effectively, consistently, and accurately produce commercial loan documents with the correct terms and conditions and ensure they are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Organize time and loan requests to maximize efficiency in order to deliver documents in a timely manner prior to the requested deadline.
  • Analyze all loan packages for missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with loan officers as needed in order to complete quality loan documents.
  • Maintain quality, quantity and accuracy standards as established.
  • Handle all other duties as assigned.
  • Provide assistance to other department members as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or minimum 2-years prior banking experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending and leasing procedures, laws and regulations.
  • Strong computer proficiency including but not limited to word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Prior banking experience with a good understanding of bank products and service with prior loan experience preferred.
  • Ability to assess and solve problems.
