About the position

Seeking an entry level administrative, clerical professional with 1-2 years of related experience and/or training. Must have high school diploma or general degree (GED).

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes lender system to process contracts to obtain necessary documents to complete loan packages for funding
  • Review loan packages to verify the application is complete and meets established policy, including type and amount of loan, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
  • Performs final audit before funding and will be responsible for all documentation and accuracy of the file before funding.
  • Provides backup support in key areas such as contract and application data entry, scanning, and various other administrative tasks when needed
  • Process and audit loan packages sent by dealers for funding
  • Verification of employment
  • Communicates with dealership staff in a friendly and professional way by phone, email, or fax
  • Keeps informed of all promotions and changes within the department.
  • Responsible for building and developing relationships with dealers
  • Recommends that loans not meeting policy be denied
  • Informs manager of discrepancies with contract documentation
  • Interacts with Credit Manager and lending staff to resolve discrepancies/issues and treats all staff as internal customers

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • High school diploma or general degree (GED)
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
  • Ability to solve problems involving several variables in applied application
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Computer literate and proficient with the use of the internet, email, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Word
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all internal and external customers
