In this role, you will collaborate with a team of experienced International underwriters located in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region, serving as a crucial link with the US team to coordinate the EMEA business. The team is dedicated to fostering relationships with key partners in the large corporate and middle-market risk segments. You will be part of a small yet dynamic and collaborative team of seasoned underwriters in the US, focusing on profit-oriented underwriting of Construction, Engineering, and Renewable Energy risks, encompassing both operational and construction risks. The position offers flexibility in work location, allowing you to work from various Corporate Solutions offices across the United States. Our company operates under a hybrid work model, with an expectation of being in the office two to three days per week on average. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Reverse Flow Underwriter to support the EMEA team with international programs placed in the US and Canada. You will be integrated into the North American Engineering and Construction team in the USA, reporting directly to both the Head of Engineering & Construction and Renewable Energy EMEA and the Head of Engineering & Construction and Renewable Energy North America. As a Reverse-Flow Underwriter, your responsibilities will include reviewing and evaluating renewal and new local accounts as part of a global program, adhering to established underwriting guidelines. You will handle US admitted and non-admitted accounts of various sizes placed out of EMEA, focusing on lines of business such as Construction, Engineering, and Operational Renewable Energy. Collaboration with the US Construction and Engineering team, as well as overseas EMEA Construction & Engineering underwriters, will be essential to coordinate terms and conditions as part of a global controlled master program. Additionally, you will provide account management services that integrate US & Canada coverage into a worldwide controlled master insurance program. Building relationships with US brokers and international underwriters will be a key aspect of your role, which may also involve periodic travel.
