About The Position
You will direct and coordinate scrap production at the Metals Recycling scrap yard location in Union City in order to achieve production output, and profit objectives consistent with quality customer service and safety and corporate goals. Under the guidance of the Recycling Regional Operations Manager, this position is responsible for the overall management, profitability, and production for the Union City Metals Recycling location. This position has direct responsibility for providing prescribed Gerdau Ameristeel Steel Mill with the lowest cost, high quality scrap in order to obtain captive scrap goals aligned with the Company's strategic objectives.
