About the position

GVI, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a highly skilled LOGISTICIAN III to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in formulating and implementing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) policies and processes that are essential for the success of U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense (DOD) related logistics projects and initiatives. The LOGISTICIAN III will be responsible for facilitating Supply Support working groups, ensuring that all logistics operations align with the strategic goals of the organization and meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program-level support for U.S. Navy or DOD logistics projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of the logistics organizations, their functions, and responsibilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly in reviewing and resolving Navy HM&E Supply Support issues. The LOGISTICIAN III will also be expected to interface with engineering activities, generating Supply Support issue resolution plans and estimates to ensure seamless operations. In addition to technical expertise, the LOGISTICIAN III will contribute to a diverse, team-oriented working environment, collaborating with exceptional industry professionals on exciting projects for both government and commercial clients, both domestically and internationally. Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement ILS policies and processes
  • Support U.S. Navy or other DOD related logistics projects and initiatives
  • Facilitate Supply Support working groups
  • Review and resolve Navy HM&E Supply Support issues
  • Interface with engineering activities to generate Supply Support issue resolution plans and estimates

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Seven (7) years' experience in program level support of U.S. Navy or other DOD related logistics projects and initiatives
  • Experience in formulating and implementing ILS policies and processes
  • Experience in ILS working group support
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Navy or DOD logistics organizations, including their functions and responsibilities
  • Experience in Supply Support related projects
  • Experience in facilitating Supply Support working groups
  • Preference for personnel with experience and application of MBPS
