About The Position

The position involves designing and planning the inner layout of a warehouse to ensure optimized functioning, maximum efficiency, and effective space utilization. The role requires developing warehouse designs that include planning product flow and handling systems, adopting lean concepts for process efficiency, and managing various warehousing operations such as reception, storage, order preparation, and shipments. Additionally, the position entails measuring and analyzing warehousing performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least 2 years of warehouse design/optimization experience.
• Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Skills and SAP.
• Knowledge of Database systems (SQL, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan the inner layout of the warehouse.
• Ensure optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieve maximum efficiency and space utilization.
• Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.
• Adopt lean concepts to streamline processes for process flow efficiency.
• Organize and manage warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation, and shipments according to SPS principles.
• Measure and analyze warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions.
• Manage projects to design and optimize warehousing processes.
