Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with personal hygiene and grooming
- Engage clients in stimulating conversation
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable personal transportation
- Valid Washington State driver's license and auto insurance
- Willingness to become certified as a home care worker
- Ability to pass a criminal history and reference check
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
- High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
