The position involves supporting the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management at TJ Maxx by acting as a visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty. The role emphasizes maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers while ensuring safety and adherence to company policies. The associate will wear a body-worn camera and engage with customers, all while upholding the company's culture and values.

Responsibilities

• Support the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by executing core responsibilities.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty.
• Wear a complete company-approved uniform including a body-worn camera.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to store management or customer service via a company-issued radio.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
• Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Prioritizes and organizes workload and manages time effectively.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• 0-2 years of retail or security experience.
