About the position

The Revenue Analyst position at TEWS involves analyzing data to forecast demand, identify historical trends, and assess competition in the hospitality sector. This role is crucial for providing strategic recommendations to achieve revenue, occupancy, and arrival goals, while managing rate and inventory functions across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand trends, historical data, and competitor information to recommend rate strategies that align with revenue goals.
• Execute rate and inventory updates across systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement new or modified rate plans, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure accurate setup and functionality of reporting across systems.
• Update group inventory, including group build, cut-off dates, pick-up, and block releases.
• Assist the Regional Revenue Manager with research on policies, terms, and conditions, and monitor inventory gaps for rental availability.
• Investigate and resolve inventory issues and other system discrepancies.
• Conduct comp set and market research, including rate shops, guarantee and cancellation policy reviews, and event calendar updates.

Requirements

• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications with 2-3 years of experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe with 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough financial analysis.
• Ability to make recommendations to improve performance.
