About The Position

Transdev is proud to offer a competitive compensation package of $20.00-$24.00/hour along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance offerings. As a Fleet Lube Tech, you will be responsible for changing oil and conducting in-depth inspections of all fleet vehicles, removing, overhauling, and reinstalling mechanical components with minimal supervision, and leading preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections. You will ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately, maintain records of all maintenance work completed, and notify supervisors of potentially dangerous equipment. Additionally, you will evaluate completed work prior to release, lead road calls and emergency services as necessary, and adhere to Transdev standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Vocational or technical degree in vehicle maintenance is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • 1 year of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.
  • Lube tech experience preferred.
  • Must have appropriate mechanic's tool set or willing to procure.
  • Must participate in company ASE certification program.
  • Some computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work assigned shift.
  • Be subject to a drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and conduct in-depth inspections of all fleet vehicles.

  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.
  • Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
  • Evaluate completed work prior to release and seek approval where required.
  • Lead road calls and emergency services as necessary.
  • Adhere to Transdev standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested or required.
