As a Fabricator I at Buck Knives, you will learn the art of knife making, a skill that is both rewarding and essential to our purpose-driven mission of creating knives that last for generations. This position requires no prior experience, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are well-equipped to operate various machines and perform tasks involved in the knife manufacturing process. You will be trained in Lean Manufacturing principles, which will guide you in operating machines that stamp, grind, press, polish, and cut knives, as well as prep and heat temper them. Your role will involve inspecting parts for quality assurance, utilizing measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, and performing visual inspections. You may also assist in machine setup and carry out minor maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
