About the position

As a machine operator helper at Randstad, you will be stepping into a role that serves as a foundational training position for aspiring machine operators. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the preparation of materials and the output of products, ensuring that the manufacturing process runs smoothly and efficiently. This role emphasizes the importance of minimizing waste; you will be measured on your ability to utilize materials effectively, thereby reducing scrap and excess waste during production. Compliance with safety regulations is paramount, as you will be working with machinery and must adhere to all company safety rules. The position requires physical stamina, as it involves bending, lifting, standing, and walking throughout your shift. You will be expected to lift up to 50 lbs, which is considered heavy lifting in this context. The work hours are set from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule for your daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing materials for production.
• Support the machine operator in output processes.
• Monitor and inspect the quality of products for defects.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Ensure minimal waste material during the manufacturing process.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations during machinery operation.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (heavy lifting).
