About The Position

The Machine Operator position involves operating and maintaining multiple product lines and machines to produce precision threaded fasteners. This role is crucial in ensuring the production process meets specified tolerances and quality standards. The position is full-time and requires working the second shift.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in the complex set-up and operation of Hot Header machines and related tools.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering diagrams.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs on machines and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Tear down, set up, and operate multiple product lines/machines to specified tolerances of hot or cold headers or trimmers to produce metal parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment including cleaning, lubricating, adding fluids, checking air pressure, and oil levels.
• Install cold heading tooling in machines.
• Read and interpret measuring equipment such as shadowgraphs, micrometers, calipers, and related equipment.
