About the position

The Maintenance Engineer at San Diego Mission Bay Resort is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the resort are maintained to the highest standards of appearance and functionality. This role involves maintaining equipment in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure they are in good working order and repair, contributing to the overall guest experience at the resort.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the resort to the highest appearance and working condition.
• Ensure equipment in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas is in good working order and repair.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff promptly.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of resort events and activities.

Requirements

• Previous professional maintenance experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple maintenance specialties including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical is required.
• Full availability for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts is necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a hospitality environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
