Maintenance Finance Manager

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Finance Manager to join our team. This key role will assist in the performance and supervision of the maintenance finance team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment of team members, subject to agreed criteria
• Contribute to training and development of the team
• Responsible for the day to day activities of your team to ensure accurate conduct at all times
• Manage the preparation and agreement of individual action plans and targets for all team members
• Meet your targets and those of the team on time and up to accurate specifications received
• Responsible for the upkeep and optimization of maintenance software and all process linked to data recording within it
• Assist with monitoring the financial performance of the maintenance function
• Support with the preparation of forecasts for future years including budgets, balance sheets, and financial management reports
• Verify the monthly reports presented by the team to Financial Accounting during month end closing
• Assist in the reporting and presentation of actual versus budget presentations
• Participate in the assessment of the long-term financial trends and review prospects for future cost cutting
• Set an example for team members of commitment, financial activities, work ethics and habits and personal character
• Communicate with all members of the organisation and its suppliers to facilitate day to day activities
• Be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role even where these fall outside of your own department/team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 10 years' minimum experience in Finance Analyses and Reporting within Aviation
• High level of Presentation and Communication Skills
• Advanced user in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience managing a team
