The Maintenance Mechanic position at Gibbs Die Casting Corporation is a 1st shift role focused on maintaining and repairing facility machinery and equipment. The role supports various departments to ensure the production of quality die-castings for customers, requiring a blend of mechanical and electrical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment and machinery
- Install and relocate facility equipment and machinery
- Complete daily maintenance work orders and repair logs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Troubleshoot using PLC logic and HMI controls
- Perform general welding and fabrication
- Work weekends and overtime as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Industrial Maintenance Certification
- Powered Industrial Equipment certification
- Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Authorization to work in the United States
