About the position

Join our Global Chemical Client as the Site Maintenance/Reliability Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and upgrading the process, fixed, and rotating equipment within the plant. As part of the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for implementing the Maintenance Improvement (MI) program to ensure compliance with OSHA process safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance job plans and rebuild procedures. You will integrate these job plans into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to streamline operations and improve maintenance efficiency. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing maintenance task frequencies based on manufacturer recommendations and plant experience, ensuring that our equipment operates at peak performance. You will also assist in monitoring equipment conditions through routine inspections, which include vibration surveillance, non-destructive examination of fixed equipment, infrared imaging, and lubrication analysis. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you participate in equipment failure investigations and cause analysis, implementing action items to prevent recurrence using Cause Analysis tools. Additionally, you will support Reliability Technicians with day-to-day troubleshooting of equipment problems, monitor and adjust specific equipment tolerances and specifications, and optimize the equipment lubrication program. Your role will extend to assisting with the optimization of spare parts based on usage and failure analysis, working closely with stores to retire obsolete or unused spare parts. You will collect and analyze data on mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) for critical equipment, continuously auditing work order historical data to identify areas for improvement. Furthermore, you will manage the filing and archiving of regulatory maintenance forms and support the training of technicians and operators to enhance their capabilities and skills.
