About The Position

Turner Industries Group is looking for a Site Manager for a maintenance site in the Deer Park/ Pasadena, TX area. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations for our nested contract workforce at the site, ensuring the safety and productivity of the work force and satisfaction of our client. Growing Turner's foot and headcount is a top priority for the successful candidate - by coordinating safe and productive work.

Requirements

  • Must have 10 to 15 years of progressive career growth in a petrochemical environment.
  • Must have 2 to 5 years in a supervisory-level role overseeing multiple employees of varying levels.
  • Must have a solid background in Craft work, Safety, and/or Project Controls.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Minimum High School graduate and 10-15 years industry experience primarily in the Petrochemical and Refining industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management direction and operational support to project assigned personnel involved in all phases of maintenance, small capital, and turnaround execution in Client facilities.
  • Understand the Clients business objectives and establishes clear Critical Success Factors (KPI's) that will support these goals.
  • Manage the overall contract to ensure compliance and alignment with Turner's corporate requirements and objectives as well as those for the Client.
  • Develop site goals and communicate them to the team.
  • Ensure the development, communication, and management of site procedures.
  • Demonstrate proactive personal involvement to help ensure that zero tolerance to incidents is a characteristic of the Turner culture and is reflected in both the HS&E and QA/QC performance metrics.
  • Communicate and manage site staff job expectations.
  • Provide leadership and team-building for the site team.
  • Facilitate and provide input for review meetings.
  • Manage all elements of the site, including staff additions/deletions, safety, environmental, security, project controls, contracts, materials, engineering, financial, construction, labor relations, and quality control/inspection.
  • Define quality control and inspection requirements.
  • Develop and approve authorization levels (e.g., invoice approval, procurement, etc.).
