About the position

T. Marzetti Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lancaster Colony Corporation, is looking to hire a Maintenance Manager at the Sister Schubert's Horse Cave Campus. This position is responsible for directing maintenance activities to ensure the quality, quantity, and timely maintenance of all production machinery, equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds in compliance with regulations. The Maintenance Manager will supervise Maintenance Supervisors and ensure adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Work respectfully with all team members to ensure safety, quality, production, and support of products and goals.
• Maintain the highest standard of safety for all functions and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Perform daily inspections of PPE and power equipment.
• Lead and promote a strong food safety culture within the facility.
• Coordinate shift maintenance activities to accomplish maintenance objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Oversee the preventative maintenance program to maintain production equipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance reporting.
• Maintain positive employee, corporate, and community relations.
• Perform tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with leadership experience in a food-related industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and correspondence.
• Positive leadership and self-motivation skills.
• Ability to obtain industrial truck and lift operating certification.
• Strong organizational abilities and capability to multi-task.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing staffing, scheduling, budgets, and mechanical processes.
• Ability to read and interpret written and verbal directions.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Industrial Maintenance Degree or Mechanical/Technical School Certification preferred.
