About the position

The Maintenance Supervisor for Multifamily (Affordable) at Savannah Sound is responsible for ensuring high-quality maintenance support and resident satisfaction. This role involves preparing market-ready apartments, responding to service requests, and maintaining the property’s grounds and facilities. The supervisor plays a key role in delivering superior customer service and ensuring compliance with safety and housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, and general repairs.
• Completes resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Maintains knowledge of various maintenance functions including plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, general carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, and painting.
• Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Performs on-call emergency procedures as required.
• Reports maintenance issues affecting the budget to the manager.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance and records activities.
• Knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws and codes regarding maintenance.
• Attends and participates in required training programs.
• Provides superior customer service and represents the company professionally.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school education.
• 3+ years of related experience in maintenance.
• EPA 608 - Minimum Type II certification or CPO certification as required by local regulations.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret data.
