About the position
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician II at Jubilant HollisterStier is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, installation, and repairs on manufacturing and facility equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and effectively to support the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing and facility equipment preventative maintenance, installation, and repairs as assigned.
- Complete work orders in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with department owners to perform preventative maintenance as established in department procedures.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Read and understand machine blueprints, including machine drawings, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings.
- Understand DC and AC circuits and measuring techniques.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of equipment maintenance functions and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and complete work orders.
- Knowledge of machine blueprints and schematics for various systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries.
- Familiarity with pneumatic, gas supply, vacuum, and high-pressure piping systems.
