About the position

This position is responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment within the production department to maximize production uptime. The schedule for this role is Monday-Thursday from 4:00pm to 2:00am.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality preventative and emergency maintenance services on all manufacturing and supportive equipment within the production department to maximize production uptime.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make repairs relating to production and facility equipment as necessary.
  • Able to troubleshoot, train and repair mechanical and electrical components, including but not limited to motors, drives, pumps, and control devices.
  • Participate in new equipment installation and existing equipment moves.
  • Utilize and Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Work effectively with other departments to improve quality, performance, and productivity.
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept direction from management and direct team to improve quality, performance and productivity.
  • Observe and comply with safety regulations in accordance with OSHA and equipment manufacturer guidelines when installing, maintaining or repairing electrically energized and/or mechanically moving equipment.
  • Maintain the plant and office area to assure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Participate in special project work as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as requested.
  • Comply with ISO certification for all areas of responsibility.
  • Follow all company procedures and rules.
  • Follow all mandated security procedures and processes required by industry certifications.
  • Conduct self in a respectful and professional manner with a focus on teamwork, quality and timeliness at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Related Post Technical education desired.
  • At least five years work experience in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical repair. Manufacturing experience desired.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
  • Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a Fast Paced Environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary.
