About the position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated equipment and systems within a manufacturing facility. This role is crucial for minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency through a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on automated machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
• Install, configure, and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other automation devices.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they cause disruptions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance and automation.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
