About the position
The Maintenance Technician at GPM Manufacturing/Harmonic Hot Tubs is responsible for the ongoing upkeep and general maintenance of the manufacturing facility. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance, completing repairs, and ensuring operational efficiency within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance around the building to maintain operational efficiency.
- Perform general repairs that do not require specialized knowledge.
- Maintain the building HVAC system.
- Install and maintain electrical systems.
- Repair broken or leaking plumbing.
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
- Work in conjunction with management to schedule any major repairs.
- Install new equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine repair needs.
Requirements
- One to two years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Previous electrical experience is required for this role.
- Hands-on experience with hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
- Previous welding experience.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Commitment to excellence and high quality standards.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of the spa industry is preferred, but not required.
