About the position
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a direct hire basis. This position offers a competitive salary range of $32-$40 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying a wide range of large and complex equipment. This role involves working with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics to install and troubleshoot machinery effectively. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery installation and maintenance, particularly in a manufacturing environment. They will be expected to perform routine maintenance checks, respond to equipment malfunctions, and implement repairs in a timely manner. The work environment is a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled manufacturing floor, although it can be loud due to operating press machines. Ear plugs are provided for comfort. The manufacturing floor is structured with machines in rows, producing a variety of labels and tags. This company is family-operated, with the owner and his son actively involved in production and familiar with all team members. Responsibilities
- Install and maintain large and complex equipment.
- Repair and modify machinery as needed.
- Troubleshoot machinery using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions and implement repairs in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of printing equipment.
