About the position

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities in a local Dubuque manufacturing plant. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and safety standards within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the continuous operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and PLCs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
