About The Position
Reporting to the streets supervisor, the streets maintenance worker is responsible for performing skilled maintenance activities, perform repairs and new construction within the City of Vancouver's streets system including pavements, sidewalks, signs, and striping as well as other areas. Position is expected to work effectively in a team environment and provide quality customer service to the general public. This is a full-time, regular, non-exempt position covered by the provisions of an agreement between the City and AFSCME. The schedule for this position is M-F, 6:30am to 4:00pm.
