About the position

The PMO Analyst role at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) focuses on managing project portfolios to help organizations align their long-term strategies with short-term imperatives. The position involves enhancing project performance, providing guidance and tools for project lifecycle management, and ensuring that projects are aligned with corporate strategy. As a Manager, the individual will lead a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues, develop new skills, and coach team members for personal development.

Responsibilities

  • Help organizations balance long-term strategies with short-term imperatives to optimize investments.
  • Enhance project and program performance by identifying alternative project approaches.
  • Align projects with corporate strategy and set the tone and pace of programs from the outset.
  • Provide guidance, methodology, and tools needed to successfully complete a project lifecycle.
  • Resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
  • Coach team members and encourage personal development.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations.
  • Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge in PMO domain and project portfolio management systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and delivering high-quality results.

Nice-to-haves

  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
  • Agile certification preferred.
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Ability to manage project workflow, budgets, and billing.
