Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead a staff of engineers in both technical and soft skills.
• Ensure the group adheres to principles of engineering excellence within their technical domain.
• Apply consistency of technical execution and share common practices and challenges within the team.
• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineering-related occupation.
• Direct administration in Atlassian products including Jira.
• Atlassian product suite deployment and management at an enterprise scale.
• Design and implementation of Atlassian tools and customization.
• Experience with Agile principles including stable work environments and continuous delivery of software.
• Development of integrations within Jira.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools including Splunk, New Relic, and ETC.
• Proficiency in scripting tools including Groovy, Python, or Bash.
