About the position

The Manager, Compensation and Benefits at Versiti, Inc. is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing total rewards programs that are competitive and aligned with organizational goals. This role involves strategic oversight of compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various departments to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement total rewards strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark total rewards packages against industry standards.
  • Manage the total rewards budget and forecast program costs in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing total rewards practices.
  • Develop communication strategies to educate managers and employees on total reward policies and practices.
  • Analyze total rewards data and metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR partners, finance, and business leaders to align total rewards strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain compensation policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Lead job evaluation processes to ensure accurate exemption status and job classifications.
  • Design and maintain salary structures that are equitable and scalable.
  • Conduct pay equity analyses to ensure fairness and compliance with equal pay regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and manage variable pay programs to drive performance.
  • Work closely with CEO and CHRO to align long-term incentive programs for the organization.
  • Design and administer employee benefit and wellness plans.
  • Evaluate and select benefits vendors and manage relationships with benefits providers.
  • Manage the open enrollment process for employee benefits.
  • Manage retirement plans, ensuring they are competitive and well-administered.
  • Administer various types of employee leave, including FMLA and parental leave.
  • Analyze and optimize benefits costs while maintaining quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field experience required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, or benefits, with a demonstrated track record of success required.
  • Prior experience leading and developing staff required.
  • In-depth knowledge of total rewards best practices, market trends, and regulations required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data required.
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and practices impacting employee benefits required.
  • Proven program and project management skills required.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills required.
  • Experience in designing and developing comprehensive benefits communications required.
  • Track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)-IFEBP preferred.
