About The Position

The Manager, Data Operations at Harley-Davidson is responsible for leading and managing the data operations team to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and security of the organization's data systems. Requirements

• Proven experience in data operations management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with data platform infrastructure design and management.
• Proficiency in DataOps practices and CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the data operations team, ensuring data availability, reliability, and security.
• Oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of the data platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop, implement, and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards, including data cataloging, lineage, quality, and stewardship processes.
• Lead DataOps practices, implementing CI/CD processes to optimize data infrastructure and improve workflows.
• Implement and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage, ensuring pipelines include validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data needs are met and to support data integration, storage, processing, and analytics.
